He's Mine is the sixth episode of the first season of the fanfic Glee: The Next Direction. The episode was first published on the 20th of November, 2013 and was written by QuickForeverr.
Invitationals is finally upon the New Directions, and they couldn't be happier. With twelve members, they are ready to sing for the first time in front of an audience. Meanwhile, Rocky and Leah start to begin a serious conflict, both believing they have the biggest chance with Aidan. Rocky reveals something about Leah that startles her. Marley gets a mysterious call.

Episode[]
Leah has a serious crush on fellow member of New Directions, Aidan. However, Rocky has a crush on the same person as well. Meanwhile, New Directions have been gearing up for Invitationals, and now have twelve members.
Rocky walks through the hallways, his hands clutched around his books. I can't believe Leah is blackmailing me! Just because she found out that I'm gay and in love with Aidan, she thinks she has one over one me! Rocky narrates, as he walks. But she doesn't. I see the way she looks at Natalie or Sophia. It's the same face I use when I check out guy! Rocky turns around a corner, and walks off, smiling to himself.
"Invitationals is in two days!" Marley says, excitedly, as the New Directions take their seats. The group applauds, and Marley beams. "We've come so far!" exclaims Sophia.
"There used to be just five of us!" says a smiling Aidan.
"And I used to be very shy!" marvels Leah, smiling at the group.
"And straight," mutters Rocky under his breath.
"Our rendition of Don't Stop Beleiving was great!" Natalie says, giggling.
"Yes, yes!" Marley says, still clapping. "We have come very far in just a matter of weeks!"
"Here comes out assignment during the two days!" Kai says, as Marley wakes her way to the board. The New Directions begin to make a drumroll on their seats as Marley begins to write their assignment.
"Girl versus Guys!" Marley says, moving out of the way to reveal the board. In neat writing, the New Directions see Girls vs. Guys.
"How many songs?" Amber asks.
"Just one per gender group!" Marley says.
"What do the winners get?" asks Kyle.
"They will get..." Marley says, pondering the question as she walks around the room. "The chance to sing a song at Sectionals".
"You'll just pick the girls!" exclaims an annoyed Jason.
"I'll have a special judge," Marley says. "The guidance counselor, Lauren Swann".
"That seems a little fair", Jason replies.
Marley knocks on the door, and hears Lauren's chirp, "Come in!"
Marley enters, "Hello!"
"Marley!" Lauren calls, standing up, and walking to the door, and giving Marley a hug.
"So," Marley says, as the two take seats on opposite sides of the desk. "I was wondering if you could judge a Glee-off for me?"
"Of course!" Lauren says, beaming. "Anything for you! What kind of Glee-off?"
"Girls verse boys", Marley says.
"Perfect!"
The two women enter the Choir Room, to see the boys on the left, and the girls on the right, both huddled together, whispering furiously.
"Wow! These kids are going to do well!" Lauren says, taking a seat in a chair.
"Can't tell if that was sarcasm..." Marley says, walking over to the piano.
"No! Not at all!" Lauren says, defensively. "Look at how determined they are to do well! It's very pleasing to see!"
"I suppose," Marley says. After a hesitate, Marley calls out to the room "Remember, you are presenting tomorrow!"
"Who's going first?" Aidan calls from the left.
"I'm not sure..." Marley says, thinking.
"How about a coin toss?" Lauren suggests.
"Perfect. Okay! Both teams nominate a member to come up here!" Marley calls out.
After a quick discussion from both teams, Sophia and Rocky walk up to the middle of the room, facing each other from either sides of the piano. "Ready?" Marley asks, getting ready to flip a coin.
"Ready!" Sophia says.
"Ready!" Rocky replies.
Marley flips the coin, and Sophia shouts out "Heads!"
The coin lands onto the pianos surface, and shows up tails. Sophia looks disappointed, and Rocky beams.
"Okay Rocky! Your choice, will you perform first, or the girls?" Marley asks.
"The girls!" Rocky says, walking back over to the boys.
The six girls stand in front of the Choir Room the next day, ready to perform. Lauren and Marley enter the room together, laughing. When they see the girls are ready, Marley says "Let's get right to it!"
"We'll be performing the classic hit, All Night, by popular band, Icona Pop!" Natalie says, as she takes her place.
The band begin to play, and the girls take a deep breath, before they sing.
Leah and Natalie:

"That was superb!" Lauren says, giving a standing ovation.
"Thank you, thank you!" Diana says, and the girls take a seat.
"Really, that was hardly us trying!" Leah says, and the girls laugh, as the boys look around, nervous.
"Ready, boys?" Marley asks.
"Guess so..." Kai says, and the boys take their turn to stand up at the front of the Choir Room.
"We'll be singing Lego House, Cody says, slowly.
"By Ed Sheeran!" Kyle says, interrupting Cody, and talking much faster.
Aidan:
I'm gonna pick up the pieces,

Rocky:

"Looks like our judge is going to have her work cut out for her!" Marley exclaims. The bell rings, and the New Directions get up to leave. "Remember, meet here for the Invitationals TOMORROW!"
The New Directions cheer as they leave the Choir Room.
"Well, if I'm being perfectly honest," Lauren says, "one of the guys didn't look interested in the performance at all, and it really ruined it for me!"
"I saw that too!" Marley says. "It was the one who spoke at the beginning, before being cut off, yes?"
"Yes, that was him. So, Marley. I would like the girls to win, as they were all interested, and gave an absolutely tremendous performance!" Lauren exclaims, applauding.
Leah walks down the halls, and stops at her locker. She reaches in, and grabs a book out, and slips it into her bag, closes her locker and walks off. When she turns around a corner, she sees Rocky standing there, arms crossed. "I've been waiting!" he says, aggresively.
"You creep!" Leah says, turning away.
"Why don't you want to speak to me, Leah?" Rocky says, following her. "Don't you love me anymore?"
"What's UP with you?!" Leah exclaims, turning around.
"I think the real question is why you're such a bitch!" Rocky says, smiling.
"What?"
"I know you're planning on telling people about me" Rocky says. "He's mine, just deal with it. While for you, I know a girl can do!"
"What do you even mean?" Leah says, going red.
"Oh! Does the word bisexual have any meaning to you?" Rocky says, smiling even more broadly.
"You tell anyone, and not only will I tell everyone about you, but I will end you!" Leah says, turning away.
Rocky grabs her arm, restraining her from going anywhere. He leans in, and whispers in her ear "only if you tell people about me".
Leah moves her arm, and elbows Rocky in the face, before leaving. Well, at least she knows I know about her. Bitch can try to tell, but people won't believe, and I know her secret, Rocky narrates, feeling his nose, where her elbow hit. I guess I'm the blackmailer now!
The New Directions stand in the Choir Room, getting dressed up in their dresses and suits, ready for their Invitationals.
Marley walks in, and smiles. "Everyone looks great! You're going to own that stage!"
"I know I will!" Sophia says, moving parts of her hair into a bun. The New Directions laugh at her remark, and Marley has a flicker of a smile.
"Get in here everyone! Show circle!" Marley calls. The New Directions make their way into the middle of the Choir Room. "Remember, you guys are great, and you're going to do great! It starts off with Brave, and then goes into Bonfire Heart!" Marley takes a deep breath. "Off you go!"
The music begins to play, and the New Directions take their places. From what they can see, the auditorium is jam-packed with people, all watching them.
Leah:

The New Directions are met with even bigger applause, and the group hugs one another, happy with their amazing performances.
The group enters the Choir Room, all buzzing about what they just did. Marley enters, applauding the New Directions. "PERFECTION!" she shouts.
After the audience has cleared out, Leah makes her way onto the stage. Rocky comes out seconds later, and they both walk to the middle, and stare at each other in the eyes.
"Listen here," Leah says. "I get a text from you saying to meet here. This better be good".
"Aidan is mine," Rocky says, angrily. "No doubt about that!"
"Aidan is straight, which means I have more of a chance," Leah says, moving closer to Rocky. "He's mine."
"No, no. He's mine," Rocky says, breathing heavily.
Music begins to play, and the two begin to sing The Boy Is Mine.
Leah:
Excuse me, can I please talk to you for a minute?
Rocky:

Marley stands in the Choir Room, flipping through sheets of music. Her phone begins to ring, and she picks it up. "Hello?"
